Senior Management

Tom Thistleton - Chief Executive Officer

Tom has over twenty years of software executive leadership and management consulting experience focused on operational strategy, operations and profit improvement. Prior to Domin-8, he was the Executive Vice-President of Bluespring Software, a venture-backed software start-up focused on delivering business process management solutions to the telecommunications industry. Before Bluespring, Tom spent eleven years in the management consulting practice of Deloitte & Touche, the last two-and-a-half as a Partner in the Cincinnati practice. Previously, Tom was Deloitte’s National Supply Chain Service Line leader, and a Regional Director. He served as an advisor and consultant on the firm’s largest consulting opportunities and projects, ensuring the successful selling and delivery of services. Tom holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton and an MBA from Indiana University.

Dan Buettin - Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Dan brings more than 30 years of strategic corporate and financial leadership experience to Domin-8, with many years of experience in the software and services industry. Dan oversees our accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis, human resources, administrative and legal service departments. Dan’s experience includes serving as Chief Financial Officer at Frontstep, Inc., a global software company; MPW Industrial Services Group, an industrial service provider; and OHM Corporation, an environmental services provider. Dan’s extensive professional background includes leading several IPO’s as well as financial consultation and project execution for a large multi-national manufacturer and a national law firm. Dan began his career with Arthur Andersen LLP after earning his Masters in Business degree from The Ohio State University and his undergraduate degree from DePauw University.

John Ensign - Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary

As Chief Legal Officer, John brings more than 13 years of legal, business and leadership experience to Domin-8. John oversees all legal aspects of our business, including the corporate structure and capitalization of the business, contractual matters, mergers and acquisitions, and securities matters. John’s legal experience includes practicing general corporate and business law at Bricker & Eckler LLP, an Ohio based law firm, where he gained an extensive background serving as outside counsel for numerous companies from start-up businesses to private and publicly traded companies. Prior to his legal career, John worked as a Division Vice President of College Craft Enterprises, Ltd., a contracting company based in Chicago. John received his undergraduate business degree from Miami University (Ohio) and earned his Masters of Laws in Business and Taxation as well as his Juris Doctorate from Capital University.

Phil Trudeau - Vice President of Markets & General Manager, Market Rate Group

With over two decades of worldwide executive leadership, Phil is responsible for all aspects of customer acquisition, revenue generation, sales, marketing, and product management. Prior to Domin-8, Phil led worldwide sales operations and service delivery for Incentive Technology Corporation, an enterprise-class sales performance management (SPM) company. Before joining Incentive, Phil was the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Centive, an on-demand sales compensation management provider. He helped transform Centive from an enterprise software company to SaaS company. In less than 24 months, he drove Centive’s revenue from zero to over $3.3 million and personally helped acquire more than 60 new customers and grew the subscription base by more than 570%. Prior to Centive, Phil was area Vice President of Sales for Automatic Data Processing (ADP), one of the largest providers of transaction-processing and information-based business solutions. During his time at ADP, Trudeau led the New England Major Accounts Division, managing a team of 150 sales associates and responsible for $140 million in revenue. Phil serves as an executive advisor to two New England area technology companies, and serves as a career advisor for Bentley College. Trudeau holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management & Marketing from Bentley College.

Gustavo Sapiurka - General Manager, Affordable Housing Group

Gustavo is responsible for driving solutions to the Affordable Housing Market Segment. Gustavo Sapiurka was previously CEO of TCG Technologies (TCGT), where he led the growth of the property management software company to be the leader in supporting the affordable housing industry. Gustavo has worked in the Caribbean, the South Pacific, South America, Africa, Europe and Asia, in support of housing, municipal development, management and finance projects. For over 20 years, Gustavo has been very active in the affordable housing industry as a thought leader as well as a member of industry-sponsored task forces dealing with automation issues. He started his professional career in property management in 1987 as the Chief Information Officer for the Gulledge Corporation, a property management firm serving the conventional and affordable housing markets. Gustavo graduated from ORT Technicum, in Givatayim, Israel, with a degree in Computer Science. He is based in the Domin-8 Vienna, Virginia office near Washington, D.C.

Don Vincent - Vice President, Product Development

Don leads the product engineering, quality assurance and information systems organizations. He has over 25 years of leadership and management experience with leading technology companies. Prior to Domin-8, Don was Director of Development/Products for Spotlight Solutions, a leading provider of retail pricing and revenue optimization software. Don also was Senior Director, Products, for the Attachmate Corporation, a leading developer of enterprise information access and management software and services. Prior to Attachmate, Don worked at Reynolds and Reynolds, the major supplier of computing solutions to the automotive dealerships. While there, he was a key contributor to projects ranging from a parts cataloging system to computer operating systems. Don earned Bachelor’s degrees in both Systems Analysis and Psychology from Miami University (Ohio).

Larry Newcomer - Director, Value-Added Services

Larry is responsible for the company’s Value-Added Services businesses. Larry has over twenty years of experience in software solutions marketing and product management. Prior to Domin-8, Larry held several senior positions at the Reynolds and Reynolds Company, a nearly $2 billion retail solutions provider. At Reynolds, he served as Director of Marketing Communications, Senior Director of Marketing, Senior Director of Corporate Development, and Senior Director of Product Management. He also ran the company’s Parts Enterprise business as well as the Finance and Insurance Solutions business. Larry innovated Reynolds’ Parts eCommerce business which resulted in a landmark industry joint venture. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Wright State University.

Greg Meredith - Director of Operational Excellence

As Director of Operational Excellence, Greg is focused on leading strategic initiatives to advance our company strategy and ensure 100% focus on meeting the needs of our customers. Prior to joining Domin-8, Greg ran a consulting company focused on strategy and business process engineering. In addition, Greg has experience in financial modeling, corporate finance and operations management with companies such as Bank of America and Owens Corning. Greg earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Miami University and his MBA from The Ohio State University.

Janet Deschler - Director of Customer Success

Janet joined Domin-8 Enterprise Solutions in 2008, and quickly accelerated to her current position as Director of Customer Success. Janet is responsible for building and reinforcing customer relationships through responsive, action-based training, service and support. Known for her passion and dedicated focus on customer advocacy, Janet has spent most of her 20-year career meeting her customer's needs through support, product development and overall leadership. Prior to Domin-8, Janet spent the majority of her professional life in senior roles at Reynolds and Reynolds, a leader in automotive software management solutions. Janet holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Bryant College in Smithfield, Rhode Island.
