If a household is approved with conditions, management can determine the conditions that must be met before the household can be moved in, including a higher security deposit or an additional month’s rent.
- Enforcement of Business Rules We know how important it is for you to be able to enforce the rules you have in place. Through the integration with your property management system, applicants who don’t meet your business’ guidelines can’t be moved in without appropriate approval. If the applicant has been approved with conditions, those conditions must be met during the leasing process. Background Screening uses your criteria to determine which applicants are acceptable, ensuring only qualified applicants become residents.
- Reports and Audit Trails Because the same rules are applied consistently to all applicants, fair housing requirements are met. Audit trails are created to document the results of the screening and are there if you ever need to prove your fair housing compliance.
